How to Tell if Someone is LYING

Speaking the TRUTH when the media and news are LYING to you.

Living in a world of deception

The Bible predicted a great deception at the world’s end two thousand years ago. Why is this happening? 

Sinners run to the darkness to hide their sins exchanging the truth for lies. 

False teachers and preachers take scriptures out of context promising a life God never promised.

We know from “selfies” images can easily be falsified, filtered, or taken out of context. 

Ask yourself:

1. 1. What are you speaking, projecting?
   2. What are you seeing?
   3. What are you hearing?

Fed up with all the lies indicates your ears are still tuned to truth

Jesus said I am the Way, The Truth, and the Life. No man will come to the Father except through Me. 

Proverbs 12:22 tells us Lying lips are an abomination to the LORD, but those who deal faithfully are His delight.

When you tell the truth you are someone the Lord delights in.

Living a lie and lying about it reveals darkness has overtaken you

Examine yourself, repent, and choose to be someone who follows after truth. 

Test the truth

Unless you are a firsthand witness or know a credible witness do not believe what you hear or see no matter who is saying it – not even me.

Put ALL verses a pastor, teacher, or influencers references back into the context of the Bible and ask yourself: Who? What? Where? When? How? Why? Ask yourself: Are there any qualifies of this promise?

Speak the truth

When you know the truth, proclaim the truth to all who will hear. Stand up and declare what is contrary to the truth by bolding living with truth.

You will not be liked. You may even be shunned, unfriended, spoken unkindly about, and even dropped or censored. Speak the truth anyway.

Teach the truth

Live your life in a manner worthy of the truth. Invite people to follow your example. Create and share posts about the truth. And remember…
