WORK TIP: Posture Corrector and Computer Glasses

When Do You Need a Posture Corrector & Computer Glasses?

When you least expect it

One day a package arrived in the mail for my son. I put it on his bed.

Later, when my son got home he smiled, opened his order, and handed it to me saying, “Mom, I got something for you. I noticed you are stooped over your computer all the time. You need this. Put it on.”

I said, “Okay.”

Not exactly sure what this black strap thing was supposed to do, my son helped me put my arms through and then tightened it up.

He nodded and say, “There you go.”

The first few days I wore the posture corrector for about 4 hours, then I would take it off.

I could feel my neck realigning, my posture improving, and an increase in energy was coursing through my body.

I have repeatedly thanked my son for getting it for me.

I feel much better and am standing stronger than ever.

On consumerreporting.org read about them and decide for yourself if you want to give one a try.

Posture Corrector and Computer Glasses

Hey Mom, my new glasses have a blue block in them for computer screens and now my eyes don’t get tired. You should really try them.

So… the next day at Wal-Mart I picked up a pair thinking I will give them a try.

I have found using my computer glasses, I am able to create content all day and step away ready for fun and adventure – instead of a nap.

When to know if something is for you

When you need something does the need register in your mind and compute to your next steps towards meeting your need?

If you have lived denying your needs, it may take some practice to recognize the signals.

SIGNAL: Your body is stooping over the computer and your eyes are tired of looking at the screen.

IDENTIFY does your mind suggest…

  • Hey, let’s go lay down and close our eyes – we need a nap!
  • You are so lazy push through it
  • Let’s find out why this is happening and correct the problem

SOLUTION: Instead of putting bandaids on an issue, choose to practice the character trait problem-solving.

Problem-Solving is a character trait that takes a curious mind to develop.
