Many places, like WikiHow, have articles on how to find love.
However, are they suggesting you find love as they define love?
A new understanding of love begins with recognizing real love vs. counterfeit love or false love.
Let’s start with
- Looking at what does love mean
- Asking where do you find love
- Understanding how do I stay in love
- Learning how do I love others
1. What does love mean?
If you ask this question to an assembly of people, you will get a multitude of answers.
As cute as a child’s definition is of love, it still leaves one wondering what love is?
When was the last time you heard the character traits of love being regaled?
Is love the attributes often described at a wedding, like in the What is Love image below?

Have you ever been asked to implement your name in place of love in the above verse to see how you measure up?
We advise you refrain from doing so unless you want to add a more profound feeling of loss and unlovable.
To find out what something is, what it does, or how it works – ask the maker.
Since the “What is love – What does love mean?” question has been asked for centuries, let’s journey back in time and find love in its purest form.
2. Where do you find love?
The Apostle Paul, inspired by God, wrote the timeless, treasured piece of literature, “Love is…” describing the essence of God.
Man has been trying to become God ever since, thinking this passage describes man’s love.
When a Bible verse is out of context, it holds a standard one cannot possibly live up to achieving.
The above verse on love, out of context, implies that if you had loved or loved some, you would be treated and treat others with these absolutes.
Putting this work of art, I Corinthians 13:4-8, back into context and cross-referencing it, which means looking at other related verses.
We find love is mentioned 310 times in the NASB Bible, to which we discover the truth God is love.
In the sentiment of Love Is…, replace the word love for God and then reread it.
Bamm. You have just met God. God is Love.
3. How do you stay in love?
Your True Lover is faithful and gentle. He will never abandon you.
He always has time for you, and He hushes all of heaven to hear your voice.
He loves you like crazy, and He can’t stop thinking about you.
Nothing you have done can do or will do can hinder how much He loves you.
However…

Love is not something you muster up on your own.
By connecting to God’s love, God’s spirit of LOVE will remain in you by abiding in Him.
The easiest way to fall in love with yourself is to turn to God is love.
When you are in God’s presence, all darkness will flee.
It is like turning on a light in a dark room – evil cannot stay – as love floods the room.
Perfect love casts out all fear.
God is good all the time as God is love.
4. How do you love someone?
Love is not a feeling.
Love is a Who seen through your attributes.
When people end a relationship by either going to their eternal home or a new relationship, there may be an ache in your heart.
And yet, the parting of ways calls for a celebration.
Death – celebrate your loved one is in the eternity of their choosing.
Divorce (relationships ending) – celebrate your partner’s choice to take responsibility for their own life and choose what is best for them.
Being attached to a trustworthy source of love reassures you, you will never lose the love of your life.
Find true love today. If you need help, ask the best relationship coach your question.
PS. To earn a degree in love, invite love to come into your life, study the word love in the Bible, and apply the attributes to your life.
