Fitness Motivation – When You Just Don’t Feel Like It

Fitness motivation when you need it… Like today.

Hey friend,

Have you ever had one of those days were you just didn’t feel like exercising?

You know you want to but, the morning is just off.

Maybe you are struggling to have a better attitude towards fitness or maybe it is something else?

Have you ever…

Put on the fitness gear and still did not head out the door?

This morning, I put on my biking clothes while whining about not feeling like going.

My state didn’t change, I was still whimpering.

Why was I making such a fuss? I like riding my bike.

I was telling myself, “Just do it already – you know you will feel better.”

A half-hour later I am pulling weeds in the yard with my bike helmet on…

What is that all about…

Why was I avoiding exercising?

It was time for…

Next level of fitness motivation

I gave myself the talk.

You know a high level of serotonin will improve your mood.

I nodded, then replied, “Unfortunately, I don’t get the hit until AFTER I am done.”

You know you really enjoy fitness.

Yeah, yeah. I know.

Maybe you want to tell me WHY you should take care of your body

That was it. I hopped onto my bike and off I went.

Here I am halfway through my ride.

Yes, WHY.

Figure out what WHY you want to be fit…

Don’t use the lame, wishy-washy “I want to have a lean, tight, body” dream that won’t last a lifetime…

Come up with a WHY that will help push you to begin and will pull you through when you want to quit.
