Heal your broken heart take a bike ride

So your heart is broken? Or you know someone who has a broken heart. Welcome, I am glad you are here.

There is some good news and bad news.

The bad news is it may take longer than you desire for healing and recovery to occur primarily if the heartbreak is from a broken relationship.

However, the good news is it can also be a short process.

When looking for the best advice, ask yourself who your heart and mind are willing to listen to and if that person has practical application tools to implement to get you moving forward.

Have you ever heard of the song Where Do Broken Hearts Go by Whitney Houston?

Often after a break-up, a person gravitates towards someone or something that can relate and cheer them up, telling us the best words that could make us say, “Oh! That was right. I should remember that!“.

Why do we do these things? It’s because we are too drowned in thinking of what led us to this unfortunate point. Sometimes we even doubt our values by asking ourselves what is wrong with us.

Remember, there are no best words that can heal us unless they are from GOD. They will only manifest unless you let Him help you mend your broken heart. We, as humans, are naturally weak, and only the Author of Love can teach us how to move forward.

Here’s the thing…

As much as you wanted to do it yourself, you must accept that you need help from another human being and the Supreme one. Learn from other’s experiences, they say.

Ms. Love has found ways that helped her overcome a broken heart, her proven and practical sound advice may be just what you need. Like you, Sharon fell in and out of love, went through failed relationships, and still successfully overcame her struggles. Having overcome this adversity is why she happily shares the values of what she learned from these experiences with anyone who needs to hear them.

Now, let’s take a look…

6 Ways on How to Help Heal the Broken-Hearted, even when the Broken-Hearted is You

These are not common practices but one must truly be open to change for it to happen.  Each action item to do will take you to a point that you would actually want to do the next step to get the best result. You will see that you are becoming the best version of yourself as you go through each step.

AS A BROKEN-HEARTED PERSON, WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?

1. Attend Divorce Care even if it wasn’t a “marriage.”

Divorce Care is a support group that will guide you through the process of recovering your life after a divorce or separation. Although the materials are written for married individuals, they can be applied to couples who did have a license to be married but were living together.

2. Commit to learning more about yourself by attending a codependency group.

What the group will not teach you is that there are six types of codependents. Once you identify which traits you lean towards using you can begin to make adjustments

3. Allow God to transform you by being in His word

Locate scripture that confirms who you are. For example Isaiah 49:16 “See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands. you are ever before me.”

4. Practice compassion for yourself and for the person who moved on

The 10 commandments are summed up in two: Love God and Love Others. We fall short and as a result, we inflict pain onto others.

5. Develop your Character

Building your character traits is not only essential for your heart’s recovery process but also gives you a long-term benefit. As days go by, you’ll thank yourself enough that you are becoming a better person every day.
