I hate my life - I hate my family
hating your life is a gift
Passing through the season of hating your life is not a road you need to travel alone.
Yes, it is a season. And yes, although it may not feel like it, it will pass.
Maybe you have felt like Jody.

Thank you for being honest and sharing with us your need to know that you matter.
We accept your gift of meeting your need for validation and offer this page in hopes of satisfying your desire.
The key to changing your outlook is to deepen your faith.
But first, let’s talk about the intense emotion of hate.
1. The strong emotion of hate
If hate were allowed to speak, hate would tell you:
I quietly showed you disgust, disharmony, and annoyance so that your need for connection, peace, and to know you matter could be satisfied. Yet, you refused to listen. I am a warning siren going off in your head. Could you wake up and listen to me? I am asking YOU to change how you are meeting YOUR needs.
When you do not listen to gentle nudges to change, emotions build upon each other until you explode or choose to do something about them.
You are receiving the gift of hating your life SO THAT you can choose a different path..
2. We walk by faith, not by sight
It takes faith to move about your day – you did not see this moment happening until you are here.
Faith is required to drive. You have faith the other driver is going to stay in their lane.
You have confidence your vehicle will start when you turn the key.
Life is a faith walk. Faith means believing in what you cannot see.
Not liking what you see is an indication you are walking by sight and not by faith.
Hating your life indicates it is time to stop focusing on what you see and restore your faith walk.
Where does your faith originate? Which path of faith have you chosen?
Choosing your faith walk in a world of spiritual options is best done methodically.
Examine your answers.
- Is there a faith that you follow or something that you believe? Why?
- Are you willing to write a list of what your faith believes in your planner?
- Will you lay down your life to practice your faiths teachings?
- Is it time to believe something different?
When considering faith walks, God and the 10 Commandment are always somewhere in the discussion.
Keeping the commandments of love embodies freedom. Review the list and see if there is any reason why you don’t want to keep them?

Even agnostics and atheists have God in the conversation.
Agnostics believe it is impossible to know if gods exist or not.
Atheists don’t believe in any gods.
If God weren’t God, the question of God or the belief in God wouldn’t be debated.
If you don’t want to live according to God’s standards, say so – no excuses are needed.
When you find yourself questioning who God is,
If God is real and if you can know God.
Ask God to prove Himself to you.
God is a relational God who loves to interact with His people.
His beauty and wonder are seen in creation.
God speaks through a still quiet voice within you.
He wired your DNA to know right from wrong.
He gave you feelings and emotions so that you could experience and connect to Him and others.
Bottom line, if God doesn’t prove Himself to you, don’t believe in Him.
He is up for the challenge.
If you seek Him, you will find Him.
3. Mind-body-spirit-soul
What is the mind-body-spirit connection? Where does the soul come in?
